Our new Executive Medical Director will join a cohesive and inspiring Board team focused on putting patients and staff at the heart of all our strategic decisions. As we respond to the ongoing challenges presented by Covid-19, this role will provide professional and compassionate leadership to our dedicated medical staff, supporting their well-being through and beyond these unprecedented times. This is a broad role responsible for Medical engagement, progression of our ambitions for embedding research and innovation and for assuring the Board of the quality and safety of our services. A visible and strategic leader you will also work proactively with our system colleagues in our ‘Together We’re Better’ partnership as we focus on making Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent the healthiest places to live and work.
We are seeking an empowering Medical leader with a strong track record of experience at Board level in a complex acute environment. Passionate about quality improvement and patient safety you will have the opportunity to work with a truly inspirational workforce and a dedicated Board team.
